Motivation: Staying strong!

Being Strong is never easy
Faith takes courage, it does not just fall into your heart
Everyday presents a brand new challenge
For many, there is no way out, nobody to ask for help
Yet, time keeps ticking, and the days keep rolling by
Suddenly, If you ever doubted God, you find yourself beginning to trust Him
If you ever wondered if He hears you, you begin to pray
In that moment you believe God for freedom, for a way out
Strength ignites, Hope is in sight
It takes courage to decide, on whom to abide.

Stay Strong!

Every struggle is an opportunity to be BRAVE.

Unlocking your full potential

I started this blog mainly to share my experiences and life journey and hopefully offer some kind of guidance, and maybe inspire people that may be going through similar challenges as me. So far, I believe I have established the fact that God has been and still is my everything.
Over, the years, I have struggled with trying to find myself and just really beginning to be all that I was born to be.

The understanding of the human mind is very limited. To many, the only things  considered real are the ones we can see. What we know and how much we understand and can interpret things is as far as it goes.

Waking up slowly, she blinked herself to consciousness. Laura, while still on her bed had vivid flashes on her life rushing through her mind. She slowly pulled her self off the bed. " I've been through so much, she thought to herself. I don't know what else to do. nobody seems to understand." As she knelt down to say her prayers, all she found her self saying was, " God please help me, I don't know what else to do. Have mercy on me and give me the grace to make it through".

When we are burdened with the weight of uncertainty and the feeling of being lost because things are not just working out, it becomes more difficult to remain at peace and be focused. Worst case, when we do not know what to do, or why 'bad' things or not so good things keep happening each time we try to do something - keeping a job gets more challenging, running a successful business proves almost impossible or maybe even not knowing what exactly it is we are supposed to be …

Expired Relationships: When to let go

" Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life" ( Proverbs 4: 23)

Who are my friends? This is one question that I have tried to answer for years!!!  As a young black woman who grew up in a conservative christian home, the youngest in a family of 7... My parents taught us all they knew about life & relationships.

Road to Self Discovery [Part 2]

If you haven't read the part 1 of this post,Here it is Part 1 .

I will just jump right into it.
After seeing the number of page views on the Part 1 of this post, it got me excited. We are all very similar ( whether we like to admit it or not); we are seeking for answers, solutions, a way out...
Just something, anything that can give us some kind of clarity to the uncertainties and silent struggles that we face daily.

To this I say, " Thank you God for Jesus", (For those of us who are Christians).
I confidently urge you to seek God and surrender without any doubts or reservations to his will. This is your first step to greatness!

Here is what I mean...

... Road to self discovery [ Part 1]

Growing up, I always wanted to sing. I sang everywhere; in the shower, at school, around the house... I joined the choir for god's sake. I knew i was going to be a singer, I was that confident. That was a few years ago...
Here's what happened...

Work, Life Balance tips

After 2 months of being married, the one thing that i have not had enough of is 'TIME. I find myself still having A LOT to do even after the day is over.  Being a young married woman with dreams, goals and ambition and planning to start a family, it seems impossible to achieve all this and still be sane...Talk about multitasking on overdrive.
Balancing your personal life with work is not the easiest thing to do and it requires more than just 'Luck and Strength' we need HELP, lots of it.
So If you're finding it more challenging than ever to juggle the demands of your job and the rest of your life, you're not alone.

This brings me to tip number 1

* Focus your time on the things you can control: schedule time to spend with your family and friends. this will help you recharge- go on a date with your spouse or just a simple dinner with friends will boost your energy and help clear up your head.

To dive right into why I started this blog.

I want to Motivate, encourage and Inspire myself and others based on the word of God. I feel like, that by writing down my journey,  challenges and victories and a few lessons learned, It will be useful to someone else and a constant reminder to me that everything works together for our good.

This blog is my way of sharing ideas, revelations and inspiration and hopefully help someone, anyone out there who just needs some kind of support with understanding or a reminder that they are not alone in their struggles and as a result live a content and happy life.
I’m not saying I have all the answers, I really just want people with similar struggles or just knowledge seekers to have where they can go for some REAL, HONEST, OPEN talk.
There are no rules, no judgments just LOVE!
