The principles of TIME

Many times we believe that when things go wrong and has probably gone pass the timing for the possibility of restoration and intervention that it means it could no longer be salvaged or rescued. This may be ill health, broken relationships, missed opportunities etc.
This could not be further away from the truth, because timing is one thing that I believe is divine and can be re-arranged for our benefit once we know how to apply the principles of time.

Time is a beautiful thing, because it keeps records, creates multiple chances, inspires hope and presents opportunities. So it allows you to look back, re-live moments, try again and have expectations. I love it!

Let me bring this closer to home. You may be faced with a problem or challenge that you were not prepared for or have never experienced therefore unable to respond adequately to or know the details of how to deal with it. This may leave you lost and confused for a while. Do not fret, you are only doing what you know how to do given your knowledge of the situation and your understanding of the circumstances surrounding the situation. For some, this may be as serious as a legal case, terminal illness or as fragile as a broken relationship/marriage. Every problem has an expiration date, sooner or later everything will work out. some may end as expected, others may end with a lesson, either way, we leave equipped with new knowledge and better prepared to survive/overcome.

Life takes us on a journey of discoveries and lessons all categorized within different times and stages in our life. I have come to understand that our life is doing what it is supposed to do whether we are ready for it or not and time is there to make sure of it. Nothing that happens to us is without redemption and opportunities to resolve and live better afterwards.

The outcome of what limits/challenges us does so within the provision of the time we might have experienced it. You will not know how to tackle or solve a problem you are not prepared for, take for example, you are going in to write an exam you have never studied for, you will definitely fail. it  is a given fact. However, this does  mean that you will never get another chance to try again, only this time based on your past experience you will be better prepared for it. The question now is, will you be willing to try again?

Time will always give you a chance to learn about a problem, it will always give you an chance to keep trying and to make things right. Time will never limit you to the outcome of the problem though you may have not been prepared for it, but time will always allow you to chose if you want to try again once you have learned how to better manage/ cope with the challenge you were earlier faced with. This can be both physical and spiritual- Now, this is where the devil has got a lot of people in a choke hold and why many people fall short or end up where they were not supposed to be- hence the feeling of being lost and unsure of where to go or what next to do.

Some of us do not even know that there are challenges (mostly spiritual) stacked up against us, therefore we are unable to identify how to go about knowing what to do. These challenges can be in a a pattern of failed attempts at an opportunity that you may be overqualified for and should be able to acquire but somehow you are unable to, or noticing a pattern of disappointment and self-doubt,fear of failure therefore you do not try, hard work with no tangible results, knowing that there maybe something wrong but cannot pin point what exactly it is, or just being an all round bad luck magnet.

My take on this is, be relentless in your resolve, be persistent in your desire to know what to do by holding on to God's word and asking him for help. I assure you that He will respond at the appointed time if you do not give up. Even when it looks like the time has passed, God will bring it to manifest, because He knows the end from the beginning and vice versa meaning that he is in control of time therefore nothing is "too late" for God, Nothing takes God by surprise. God's power is designed to do more than we expect, He is never limited by Time.

If it has not happened yet, then it is not yet time. We must learn to trust God's timing.

yours truly,

Overcoming the fight in your HEAD

This post may not resonate with everyone, though I pray it speaks to as many people that read it. I understand that we all have different understandings and believe systems. But! I believe this cuts across all that as this is a common denominator in our lives. This post may be 'deep' for some, and enlightening for others if you fall in the bracket of the former, it is my prayer that God will give you understanding in your heart as you read.

We are under ATTACK. No matter how blessed and successful we are, we are being attacked or about to be attacked. We are in a HEAD fight with the devil, We must attack him with what we "KNOW" . Your head will lead you where your heart will not take you. Your head is the center of your existence, how you relate to people around you and things in your life, so it is very important to protect your head.
The enemy is fighting you over the control of your mind (life), Everything that he does, every form of attack is a battle for contro…

The fear of Uncertainty

Life doesn't always give us what we want. In most cases, it takes us in the opposite direction of where we are trying to go.  The question is, what do you do when you're on a path you did not ask for and was not ready to tread?.
The thing with sudden and unexpected changes is, no body really wants to leave their comfort zone (even though we know that's where great things happen). We just don't want to stay out in an unfamiliar space for too long, and in the worst case, be dealing with an unfamiliar situation, in a particularly tough and  under unfamiliar circumstances.  I call it, "The fear of uncertainty".

NOT knowing what is going to happen next is a daunting place to be, especially if you like to KNOW  ahead of time and you are someone who likes to plan and be prepared for things so you know what moves you need to make to avoid unpleasant situations.  See, life is funny because nobody really knows what is going to happen next, we all live with the hope th…

The challenge to be "Grounded"

It takes some people longer than others to figure out what they are supposed to be doing with their life.
I know I write a lot about knowing who you are and what you were created to be. I believe this is very important as it is the root  for our existence. Once we discover why we are here and what we are supposed to be doing, every thing naturally flows on from there. So do not be overwhelmed by this, It is my hope that someone is blessed by one of my posts.
I am going to dive right in. I know a lot of people struggle with finding out who they truly are and what they are supposed to be doing with their life. So they jump from one thing to the other, leaving trails of unfinished projects, quitting before the business has time to grow, stranded ideas that began as a "great" idea and they end up thoroughly confused and frustrated. Which will often lead them back to repeat the cycle of Fresh start - excited about something new -New idea- Questions and frustration - Tired and fru…
