The Purpose Driven Life

We were made for God, God was not made for us. Go back to your creator, find the purpose for which you were created. God is not just the starting point in our life, He is the source of it.
You may choose your career, your spouse, your hobbies and many other parts of your life, but you don't get to choose your purpose. Without God, Life makes no sense.

When you (begin your walk) are with God, it will leave many people confused and often very critical of your decision and actions; even fellow Christians may have an Opinion on how you should or shouldn't go about it.

The thing is, it is between you and God. Nobody else will quite understand why you're doing what you do, because to everyone, his/her journey is uniquely tied up to their purpose on earth. Some discover it early and in an orderly manner, others stumble upon it right in the middle of a chaotic situation and most are divinely led by sudden intervention by God that may be difficult for others to understand. How ever you find yours, it is not by mistake. God planned it that way.

Life is not in a straight line, each of our journey is unique to the person in question. Trust that God will lead you to the purpose for which he created you, and be ready to stick by it no matter what the world may say.

Your life and purpose is more important than any friendship or relationship in this world.

What we think we know has become a hindrance to us, because at every point we question God's move in our lives because it may not make much sense to us at the time. Man's desire to understand God's every move has often delayed his breakthrough and deliverance and worst cases, they lose it all in the end.
- "Everything will work out for good for they that trust in the Lord".

It is only God that can direct your life. Its starts with God. 

"For everything, absolutely everything above and below, visible and invisible... everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him". (Colossians 1:16 -The Message Bible)

I encourage you to begin your walk with God today and the first step is giving your life to Him. Pray a simple prayer of faith and receive Jesus Christ into your life, He is the way, the truth and the life, No man comes to the Father except through Jesus.

Pray this prayer;

Lord Jesus,
I come to you today
I confess that I am a sinner
I believe that you died on the cross for my sake
Through your blood I have been made clean
I welcome you into my life, work in me and Change me
I receive the new life that you have given
Thank you for saving me
In Jesus Name, Amen




Note: You must be deliberate in your pursuit. Find a good bible church to attend and begin studying the word of God, Praying daily for his guidance.

                                  I am going to be honest and say that I've had moments when I was so afraid and completely worried and unsure of where my life was headed and how I was going to survive. I AM: A PIECE OF HIM

The day began like every other, with a slow ease into the responsibilities that accompanies each day; from personal routine to my desk facing my laptop. As usual, I began with checking my mails and easing into the office task that lies ahead; a pattern I have gotten all too used to over time. While taking my break, I decide to include a photo on my blog profile so I took a photo of myself; like I usually do, I took a couple of them so I could choose the best one … you know, right angle, good lighting etc (women, we all do this). Anyways, so I finally narrow down to one and I upload it in my blog profile. I do this almost unconsciously as I kept looking at the photo still open on my Laptop, I caught myself starring  at it blankly, like in a trance; my thoughts must have gotten the best of me, because I began to have flashbacks. You know the glossy screen images of your life filled with subtle smiles and some element of wonder.
