Bring it on!

To say I have been faced with many challenges is an understatement.
Thank God we don't look like what we've been through, otherwise the things we have managed to conceal would be displayed on the frown lines and wrinkles on our face, a sad and dark aura that shows up when we walk into the room or just plain bad attitude or( fill in any negative word here).

*Sigh*... that is how i begin this post, with a huge sigh... i'm not sure if it is of relief that most of us have come to the knowledge that some things may never change and we have accepted it or it is the thought of knowing what can possibly go wrong and we are not sure how to deal or handle it.

LIFE IS DIFFICULT!! Lets call a spade a spade, Its almost feels like a high intensity military training ground where the only option is to fight to survive or succumb and ...well die!

We may never know why the things that happen to us happen, or why other people seem to be having it easier than you (or me).  It is like with every phase (stage) in our lives, there is a pre-arranged struggle waiting to challenge our strength and discipline; To test our faith and sometimes mock our weaknesses.

To this is say, "BRING IT ON"... Bring on the battles and watch God fight them all, bring on the struggles and watch God strengthen me through it, Bring On the fears and uncertainties and watch my Faith at work, Bring on the pain and losses and watch me learn from them and Grow. BRING IT ON!

We were put on this earth for a purpose, and the enemy is not happy about that... His best weapon is the pain, challenges, spiritual attacks, lack, losses etc. To that I answer, God is REAL and He is ALIVE and I believe in Him. As long as He gives me breath and wakes me up every morning, there is hope. And if he chooses to allow us go through struggles, its only to toughen us up.

So see every downfall as an opportunity to rise up stronger, every disappointment as a detour from failure, every loss as a means to gain wisdom, every pain as a training to stand firm in the face of tough situations...

Lets no be afraid, NOT anymore! If God brings you to it, He will take you through it. First we must be on His side.

I leave you with these words by  John Aughey- “God brings men into deep waters, not to drown them, but to cleanse them.

We are STRONG in God, the sooner you realize who you are in Christ, the stronger your Will to face the storms of life head on knowing that God is ALWAYS by you side and He will NEVER let you down.

To that challenge, tell it: BRING IT ON!

Overcoming the fight in your HEAD

This post may not resonate with everyone, though I pray it speaks to as many people that read it. I understand that we all have different understandings and believe systems. But! I believe this cuts across all that as this is a common denominator in our lives. This post may be 'deep' for some, and enlightening for others if you fall in the bracket of the former, it is my prayer that God will give you understanding in your heart as you read.

We are under ATTACK. No matter how blessed and successful we are, we are being attacked or about to be attacked. We are in a HEAD fight with the devil, We must attack him with what we "KNOW" . Your head will lead you where your heart will not take you. Your head is the center of your existence, how you relate to people around you and things in your life, so it is very important to protect your head.
The enemy is fighting you over the control of your mind (life), Everything that he does, every form of attack is a battle for contro…

The fear of Uncertainty

Life doesn't always give us what we want. In most cases, it takes us in the opposite direction of where we are trying to go.  The question is, what do you do when you're on a path you did not ask for and was not ready to tread?.
The thing with sudden and unexpected changes is, no body really wants to leave their comfort zone (even though we know that's where great things happen). We just don't want to stay out in an unfamiliar space for too long, and in the worst case, be dealing with an unfamiliar situation, in a particularly tough and  under unfamiliar circumstances.  I call it, "The fear of uncertainty".

NOT knowing what is going to happen next is a daunting place to be, especially if you like to KNOW  ahead of time and you are someone who likes to plan and be prepared for things so you know what moves you need to make to avoid unpleasant situations.  See, life is funny because nobody really knows what is going to happen next, we all live with the hope th…

The challenge to be "Grounded"

It takes some people longer than others to figure out what they are supposed to be doing with their life.
I know I write a lot about knowing who you are and what you were created to be. I believe this is very important as it is the root  for our existence. Once we discover why we are here and what we are supposed to be doing, every thing naturally flows on from there. So do not be overwhelmed by this, It is my hope that someone is blessed by one of my posts.
I am going to dive right in. I know a lot of people struggle with finding out who they truly are and what they are supposed to be doing with their life. So they jump from one thing to the other, leaving trails of unfinished projects, quitting before the business has time to grow, stranded ideas that began as a "great" idea and they end up thoroughly confused and frustrated. Which will often lead them back to repeat the cycle of Fresh start - excited about something new -New idea- Questions and frustration - Tired and fru…
