This came to me while I was contemplating a situation in my life where I was struggling to understand why I sometimes 'worry' over things I have surrendered to God. This is where a lot of us fall and stay down for a long time, unless we become enlightened inside of us to pick ourselves up by our believe and in the God we have placed our trust in. Because of the way the world is and how we have seen/heard about how people treat each other, the wickedness we see and hear or even experienced, have led us to be quick in our respond to a threat than a promise. This is not because we do not 'know' that God is always willing to rescue us when we call on him, but because we have failed to separate the size of the problem, who is responsible for it and the ability of God. A lot of people walk around defeated. Defeated in their thinking, knowing and understanding of what to do, who they are and who they have become. Life is a series of challenges designed to test our tenacity, and willingness to confront and overcome them so that we may be molded into a people suitable to be presented as worthy of the reward that awaits those that are victorious. I was once a victim of  the question " why me? " and very often slide in and out of it. I never understood why things were not working for me, why I was encountering one challenge after the other and for the most part losing in almost all of the battles. or at least not feeling victorious. We must recognize that the enemy only fights those that have great potential to do irreparable damage to his miserable kingdom, so he will fight you tooth and nail to prevent you from reaching a full awareness of your self and who you are in Christ. This post may not resonate with everyone, though I pray it speaks to as many people that read it. I understand that we all have different understandings and believe systems. But! I believe this cuts across all that as this is a common denominator in our lives.
